very kirlian . . .
will look again when not sooooo tired,
at first i thought “she’s wearing a cob dress,
smith is getting carried away with that stuff.”
yes, that is definitely a cob dress

ok, good morning.
i understand the inevitability of this
the ‘gazing ball’ as a metaphor for the future
the ‘tangle’ of roots
the veil seems to be an integral part of this
does that finality take us as a ‘bride’?
more coffee now.
the ball = "look!!! here!!!! into the future"
the veil = something that interferes with that seeing.
no brides here, dude.
more coffee for me, too!

veil = not enough coffee
that cob wedding dress through me
(all the rage you know, along with those
Bavarian bovine motif salt and pepper sellers)
there is something majestic about this portrait
it dances around the mirror-ball
an image of life held between two hands/////
(with all of its reflections and images and secrets and distortions)
////and she is blinded by a fancy lace thing to look into it
(lace is see through, in reality, to see into the ball she'd see herself, perhaps a bit distorted, but isnt that how we all see, with curved anxious majesty??!)
what a wonderful comment! thanks, woman!
ahem, I mean WOW!
Yeah! Smith! Yeah! Smith!

Re: Holy Crap!

WOW that is Fantastic!
There is an interesting confliction with the post production of the print that leaves such a
believable alternate reality and the grounding reflection in the sphere showing the interior of home.
This photo shot in the woods would mime the vein pathways of foliage in the sky into the ball,
would it be ruined then without the conflict?
The center point of focus for the dimensional voyage is the sphere, where is she taking the viewer?
Is that an open door in the far of the home?
What is the being holding in front of face in the right corner of the sphere?
These are my thoughts on a first look, you do wonderful work.
"would it be ruined without the conflict?"
no...it would be different.
is that an open door?
what's she holding in front of face?
i can't remember.
to me, the weirdest thing is that i cannot see MYSELF. i'm right in front of the friggin ball, taking the image.
glad i found ya on myspace.
do you prefer being called eugene or brian?
thank you for taking the time to look at this image. i'm not even sure i like it all that much, to tell ya the truth!
It is my pleasure to look at your work and
I should be thanking you for sharing.
I was looking for you in the ball too!
Yes I was surprised to see your friend request
I like both names, and I prefer you pick what to call me.
Let me know when we can get together, I am
looking forward to it.
looks like a really old sarcophagus and it is beautiful. someone telling the tale of history through a magical silver crystallized ball
thank you so much, kyndra!
another thing i like about this image that i didnt see earlier is that i appear to be coming out of the wall. the edges of my arms that complete their forms have been dissappearing and the edges of the dress camouflaged into the wall. the head and arms are coming OUT of the wall, or frame. the almost busy-ness of the black designs work well with so much information reflected in the ball. and, i can see you!! on that ladder there!
interesting works, woman woman
i like how the squiggles in the background look like the electrical stuf you sometimes find IN the ball.
wow--this is wild.
